Super Moon – two nights and one morning

So the headline may say this pretty clearly – I wanted to make a great Super Moon photo. Creating a great image of the moon is not my typical style of photography. It can involve landscapes, timing, extensive location scouting, and several other challenges. I think that is way I set out to do it; I was up for the challenge. I went out both nights, the first very clear and the second, very cloudy. I tried to make an image with a quiet lane and I tried to make an image with the city of Buffalo. Those specific moments didn’t come together for me this time, but I believe learned a lot about photographing the moon.

Here are a few images I liked from the excursions.
